It's another busy Monday.
I had to drop Lily off for her Event planning meeting...which was what brought her to Lagos in the first place, before I headed to work.
It was going to be a cramped up week for me because I was going on a two weeks leave starting next Monday.
Cecil gave me a full kiss when I got into our cubicle this morning, she looked around and made sure no one was around, I didn't pull back, I kissed her right back. She asked how my night went and I replied that it went well. We talked a bit about the house warming party and about work and then we had to run off into our regular Monday meeting.
Mr. J was in charge of the meeting today. We had won our last pitch - a new recreational park in Abuja.
We were going to be handling their publicity for a year.
An initial meeting was slated with them in Abuja and Mr. J said since I prepared the strategy that won us the account, I had to be one of those going to Abuja. I reminded him that my leave was starting off on Monday next week but he said he still needed me there and that we leave on Wednesday morning.
We met at the airport on Wednesday morning. I realised that the team going to Abuja was just Mr. J and I. The other young executive that was also supposed to go with us fell ill the day before.
Our flight was on time so we boarded early. I got a window seat with Mr. J beside me on the aisle seat. We chatted about the meeting we were going for and work stuff all through the flight, we managed not to talk about our past till we landed.
Abuja, crazy hot as usual.
A car was sent to pick us up.
The ride was smooth, traffic was light we got to the client's office in thirty minutes. The reception was quite spacious and colourful. The receptionist was a lovely looking lady that smiled as she spoke. She asked us to sit and wait while she tries to locate our contact person.
After a few minutes, the receptionist received a call and had to stand up to go into the main offices. I was taken aback by the size of her backside... Enormous! And she carried it beautifully.
I caught a glimpse of Mr. J pretending to be reading but his eyes were not on the magazine, it was trailing the receptionist as she disappeared into the inner offices.
I smiled and turned away.
1.00pm
The meeting went really well. We were given our first assignment that would run for the first quarter of the year. After the meeting we headed into town to have lunch, our flight back wasn't until 7.20pm so we had a bit of time to kill.
Lunch was at the Transcorp Hilton hotel. After lunch, Mr. J said he had a small meeting by bar, I said I was going to sit by the pool while I sent out some emails.
An hour later, I finished sending out the emails and still no Mr. J, so I went looking for him. As I entered into the bar area, I saw Mr. J with a companion seated at the far end on the bar. I guessed he wasn't done yet. As I turned to head back to the poolside, something caught my attention... His companion...that backside...oh my! Mr. J and the receptionist! Already? Really?
I shook my head as I walked away smiling ... Kai! This guy no de fall hand at all. When did he even get her details? Anyway what's my own, make I go mind my business and concentrate on those hot American men swimming in the pool.
Wahala no good!
