Mr. J's Dilemma

By the time I got to the door, the knocking had stopped  and there was no one there. I guess it was Alex coming to tell me that he had dropped off Lily.
By the time I checked my phone,  I saw his text message and Lily's message telling me she had boarded. I also saw a message  from Mr. J asking to meet up with me later today.  I replied and said it was fine... 6.00pm. Mac D had also sent me a message saying he was coming by 10ish in the night. So I guess I could meet up with Mr. J then...but what does he want?

I finally finished packing for my trip, quickly showered and headed to the spot where I was meeting up with Mr. J. As I walked in,  I saw him sitting by the bar... You couldn't miss him,  he was still as handsome as ever. I wonder how I have been turning a blind eye to this guy over the years I have worked with him. He still had that appeal since the first time I met him in Abuja.
He smiles as he notices me and waves me over.
'Hi Mr. J,  how are you?' I asked as I sat beside him.
He replied that he was fine. He said he was a bit down and needed to sit out with a friend and he thought of me.
He went ahead to tell me he has been having issues in his home... His wife actually moved out last month. I was in shock... I wasn't expecting that at all.
'But you never displayed any worries in the office' I said in shock.
'Yes, because I thought it was going to be resolved, but it's looking like she isn't interested in me anymore' he said sadly. 'You know I have always thought that if we were ever going to break up, I would be the cause but I guess I was wrong'.

'What really happened?' I asked.
He heaved a deep sigh and said 'I caught her fucking another man in my house!...and it wasn't just any guy, it was Deji her assistant of five years!. Nima, the way my wife was moaning and holding on to his waist as he banged her, I have never seen that in the 5 years of being married to her!'
The only sound I could utter at that point was WOW!.
'I was in so much shock that I didn't know when Deji dressed up and slipped away from my house' he continued. 'I had to just take the car and leave. I was away for a couple of nights, when I finally gathered the control to come back home and talk with her, she was not remorseful at all, she kept saying she was bored and needed to try something different!'. He concluded.

As I kept listening to Mr. J,  the only thought that came to my head was to hug him, which I did without thinking. It was as if that was what he needed at that moment because as I hugged him, he held on tight, after a while he slowly lifted his head and his lips found mine and we started kissing.
The kiss went on for a long while, until it dawned on me what was going on... I quickly pushed him away, stepped back,  grabbed my purse and ran out of the bar.
Chai!  Wahala no good o!
